Altura is for goods, services, and talent. Post what you make, what you do, and what you are selling. You keep control of your prices and your calendar.
Some things do not belong here, and listing them will get an account closed:
Some of these are on the list because of red tape rather than principle, and the list will change as Altura grows into the ability to handle them properly. If what you do is on it, tell us during signup anyway. You will get an account and we will come back to you when that category opens.
One person, one login. You can run several profiles from it, a personal one and one for a band, a shop, or a restaurant, and you are responsible for all of them. Do not impersonate anybody, and do not hand your sign-in link to someone else.
When you buy or book on Altura, the agreement is between you and the other person. Altura is where you found each other and how the money moves. Show up, do the work you said you would do, and say something early if plans change.
Every profile, post, and listing can be reported. Reports get read. Anything that breaks these terms comes down, and accounts that keep breaking them get closed. We would rather hear about a problem than find out about it later.
Altura shows your general area, never your address. Your location is rounded before it is stored, so the map places you in a neighbourhood and no closer than that.
Payment details never reach Altura. When payments are switched on, card information goes straight to the payment processor, encrypted, and Altura keeps a reference to the transaction and nothing else.
These terms will change as Altura grows. When they do, the version below changes with them and you will be asked to look again.
